Where do the rates come from?
The tool tries a free, no-key public exchange-rate API first. If it cannot reach the service, it falls back to a static reference table and says so.
Are these the rates my broker charges?
No. These are mid-market reference rates. Brokers apply their own spreads and fees, which can differ from mid-market.
